Traditional Herbal Uses
Capsicum (Capsicum annuum), also known as cayenne pepper, has various health benefits. It has been used orally for poor circulation and heart disease prevention for centuries. It is exceptionally rich in vitamin C and other antioxidants, making it an excellent addition to a healthy diet. It also works great with Peter Shane’s Ultimate Fast System.
Cayenne is used in our stimulating formulas like our Detox Tonic and Happy Heart Tonic.

Directions
Start off in small doses and work your way up as needed. Add 2 to 20 drops in 2 oz of water, your favorite juice or any meal. Use several times each day, or as needed. If you are using with the Peter Shane’s Ultimate Fast, see his Fasting Tips directions.

WARNING: Excessive doses of Cayenne may cause gastrointestinal irritation or heartburn. It can be extremely irritating to the eyes, nose, and throat. Don’t use capsicum on sensitive skin or around the eyes, or mucus membranes.

*The Scoville scale is a measurement of the spicy heat of the cayenne and chili peppers. This is reported in Scoville heat units (S.H.U. or H.U.), based on the capsaicin concentration. Capsaicin is the substance that gives the peppers their heat. The greater the H.U. number in a cayenne/chili, the hotter it is.
